Invasion: Neo Earth – new 0.5.0 build

Greetings to those brave few who have tried the demo¬†and to anyone new to Invasion: Neo Earth, I’m happy to announce a new update to the game that can now be enjoyed either on Steam or Itch.io!

New Features:

– Movement and shooting ranges now shown with highlighted tiles when a unit is selected

– New multi-viewpoint sprites added for all units

– New enemies ‘Bomber Saucer’ and ‘Soldier Zombie’

– New enemy teleport spawning system that makes is easier to plan your attack than before

I look forward to hearing any feedback you might have on this new version of the game. Invasion: Neo Earth will be coming to Steam this Winter!

Invading Steam Next Fest 2021

I am excited to reveal that Invasion: Neo Earth is part of Steam Next Fest – a celebration of upcoming games running from October 1-7, and a great time to discover cool new games and try out a bunch of demos – including our very own.

Steam demo and big update for Invasion: Neo Earth

A new major update plus Steam demo is now live for my retro sci-fi turn-based strategy game Invasion:Neo Earth.

New features with 0.4.0:

  • Camera zooming (using up arrow to zoom in, down arrow to zoom out)
  • New multi-directional sprites for both human and alien units
  • Faster enemy turn sequence
  • Updated level map designs for better tactical gameplay
  • Multiple bug fixes and balancing improvements to combat system

Invasion of the playable demo

I am proud to announce that the very first playable demo build of Invasion: Neo Earth is now online to play in your browser from either itch.io or gamejolt.

The nascent build of the game is currently limited to three battles but further updates and patches will appear regularly as development goes on daily, so please expect more content soon.
